So we’re going to be creating videos to promote affiliate products.
They’ll be focused around specific product that consumers are interested in
buying. These product names are buyer keywords. This is a "sniper"
method.
Good Payout
The best place to find an affiliate product if you’re just starting out is
Clickbank. Anyone can sign up as a Clickbank affiliate and get approved
instantly. There are thousands of potential products to promote and most
offer pretty solid commissions (50%-75%).
I like to promote products that pay at least $20 per sale.
Popular
Once you found a potential product, you’ll need to look in the Google
Keyword Tool to see how many people are searching for the product name.
Obviously, you want to pick a product that gets a decent amount of
monthly searches.
The guideline is use is at least 100 local monthly exact searches.
Low Competition
You’ll also want to look at the search results to make sure it’s possible for
your video to rank on the first page. Make sure there IS a video already
ranked on the first page of Google for your keyword. Also, make sure that
video has less than 20,000 views. Otherwise it could be difficult to outrank.
The only exception to this rule is if you're promoting a product that just
launched and there is no competition at all.
Once you found a product worth promoting, you’re ready to create your
video.
